Prior to joining Digital Promise, Amanda served as the senior research manager for the Connected Learning Lab at the University of California, Irvine. In her 12-year tenure at the Connected Learning Lab, she managed the Lab’s connected learning ecosystems and sought to understand how best to support young people in their learning trajectories in equitable- and justice-centered ways. Before that, she served as a statistician for the Center for Research on Information Technology and Organizations and as program support coordinator for Project Tomorrow. She holds a master’s degree in demographic and social analysis and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
